An Evening with NACE

Sacramento NACE selected several local vendors to showcase exciting new industry concepts at a recent event at Helwig Winery. We were fortunate to be there presenting several innovative food stations. A few of the other talented vendors present that evening:


Accents by Sage Floral design dressed up the tables with trendy floral pieces that we will see throughout the year.

Vintagique – vintage bar trailer rental showcased their Bar Trailer and several signature drinks. Kathleen with Helwig Winery gave us some fun options for those beer/wine-only events. Can you say Sangria and Winearitas.

Sound Image Entertainment – Sacramento Wedding DJ Services highlighted a few Pinterest trending lighting options. They explained that lighting is a trend in itself and that now, most weddings have “uplighting.” The advancement of technology has created an array of new options.


New Spring/Summer Menu Items

We delighted guests with a selection of our new spring and summer menu items. Below our smoked duck & pork belly bao with gochujang, thai herbs, mango slaw, sesame crèma and crispy avocado.

Pulled Pork “Sundaes”

Another new food station showcased pulled pork “sundaes,” made of bbq pulled pork, mashers, ricotta cheese, balsamic drizzle. The dish is topped with a cherry tomato and served in a martini glass.

Fire And Ice Chef’s Station

Chefs Beth and Amy were both onsite torching sashimi and garnishing it with a sesame miso aioli & japanese caviar. The fish rested on a bed of shiso leaves and smoking dry ice.

Chicken Curry Station

Aromatic Thai Curry with stir fried vegetables and chicken breast was presented in miniature “take out” boxes with chopsticks. (Vegetarian options were available upon request)

Dessert – Cookies & Cream Parfaits

Salted caramel mousse and toffee cookie crumbles, garnished with oven dried strawberries.
