Bubbles & Blooms is a celebration of spring, food and sparkling wines! We were proud to cater this year’s festival at Gloria Ferrer in Sonoma.

 

This event took place on April 22nd – Earth Day – with the hope to inspire guests to shop in the flower market, plant new/improved gardens and sharpen their DIY skills with various workshops and activities throughout the day.

 

Guests enjoyed passed appetizers as they mingled. A few of our favorites:
– curried beet duets (red beet, parmesan pesto & arugula atop salt roasted golden beets with curry aioli)
– lobster & artichoke polenta rounds
– vintner’s mini scones (grape confit and brie on a mini savory scone)
– Thai-spiced shrimp in an endive boat (garnished with micro cilantro and edible flowers)

 

Throughout the event, guests enjoyed the Grande Antipasti Station: a large selection of imported cured meats, local cheeses, sausages and other tapas, served with an assortment of breads & crackers. Another feature was Chef Beth’s Famous Chips Feast: individual bags of our house made pita chips with mini, to-go containers of our spicy hummus, as well as our crowd pleasing truffle potato chips with gorgonzola dip. Not to be missed: cheesecake parfaits with apricot coulis for dessert!

 

We hope to attend Bubbles & Blooms once again next year!
