Parmesan-Garlic Crostini

Depending on the size of the baguette, you may yield more or less crostini with this basic recipe. The better the quality of the bread, the better the crostini!

  • Yields: 20 servings (40 toasts)


1 baguette

1/4 cup roasted garlic oil, or use olive oil with a crushed garlic clove

1 cup shredded parmesan cheese, or as needed


1Slice baguette into 1/4 thin slices. Arrange in a single layer on a sheet pan, on parchment if available. Brush each slice with some garlic oil and then sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.

2Bake at 300 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and dried throughout. If the toasts start to brown while still soft in the middle, turn down the heat to 225 degrees.
